Liga Laudina: Saying goodbye to an unforgettable experience

Autorenbild: Līga LaudiņaLīga Laudiņa

After two weeks of laughter, sweat, and pure magic, leaving Circability was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

Although the training was demanding, by the end, I had adapted. But the real challenge came at the farewell gathering. As I stood up to give my final words, tears started flowing before I could even speak. This wasn’t just a camp—it was a family.

Circability was so much more than circus training. It was about support, inclusion, and shared experiences. Whether we were laughing over meals, swimming in the lake, or dreaming about our futures, every moment felt special.

One of the best things? I got to experience this adventure alongside my mum, my friend Elizabeth, and her mother Ines. Having them there made everything even more meaningful.

A Huge Thank You!

This experience wouldn’t have been possible without some truly special people:

Līva Tauriņa & Ance Straujā – Thank you for making this project happen and for bringing such warmth, energy, and positivity to our group!

The entire CircAbility team – trainers, organisers, and even the chefs—your hard work made this camp unforgettable.

My mum, Sandra Laudiņa – for always being by my side, encouraging me, and keeping me going when exhaustion kicked in.

Our Latvian “bunnies and cats” – Loreta, Amanda, Rudolph, Anna, Antonia, Zane, Anna Ruth, Alexander, Mara, and Kate — thank you for your support, positivity, and kindness. We were, are, and always will be the best team ever!

As I reflect on these two weeks, I feel nothing but gratitude and love for every single person who made this experience so special. Although I’m happy to be home, my heart is heavy because I miss them all so much.

I truly hope our paths will cross again one day. ❤️
